With this Moncler jacket, and so far I've been dry, breeze free, and warm thanks to my Cap 3 base layer and R2 vest. Needless to say I highly recommend this Moncler jacket. I'd say it stacks up nicely to the competition for backcountry travel and is an excellent, do everything.The material and the quality of the Moncler jackets look so well. We bought 2. A male size large and female size small.

“Not to mention it's fun to bring a splash of color into your wilderness travels - go with the green! I've used it in rain, wind, and snow during the week and a half I've owned it. Though the jackets are not too smal, but we would just prefer them to be a slight bit roomier in the body. We wish there were an inch or 2 longer and had a little more room around the body. "
